Alena Ovchinnikova

My name is Alena, and I'm a children's book illustrator. I fell in love with drawing as a child, trying to depict characters from my favorite cartoons, and I've been constantly honing my artistic skills ever since. However, I received my education in a completely different field, earning a bachelor's degree in physics. But years later, I decided to return to my passion and become an illustrator.

I truly love my job! I enjoy complementing stories with illustrations, bringing the author's ideas to life, and adding my own creative touch. I especially enjoy depicting nature, cute and funny animals, and their adventures with children. I love using complex colors and cartoonish stylization.

In my free time, I play video games, photograph architecture and nature, and enjoy birdwatching
